2024 2500 Front License Plate Bracket Holes

-I am looking at Installing Nut Certs or Rivet Nuts to hold the license plate backet on
I was told the hole is drilled out to 3/8
So Since my truck is white with the Night Edition - I am looking at buying these - Either Black or White if they will fit

Whatever you choose, it needs to be stainless. Rivnuts in plastic "can" be fine but you'll want to be very careful while tightening the hardware.

Can I ask, why?

Doesn't the plate bracket come with the hardware needed to secure it? Like those little plastic bushings the self tapper screws thread into?
I tossed my plate bracket, and ordered the painted to match plugs. Would recommend.

Yeah it should bolt right into the bumper holes. You may need to drill the lower valance holes.

I used some license plate plastic bushings that I had on hand.
Like these:

No drilling required. Just nock them in and used a long sheet metal screw on the lower valance.

Thanks for the responses
When I went to the dealership - I was told there was no part number for the bracket which I found hard to believe but figured I would make it a permanent mount with the Rivnuts versus using the plastic inserts.

Even though the front plate is required here, I’m running sans plate. The plate really detracts from the look of the front.
