Greetings... I want to run a couple of radio transceivers and wonder how you guys have run your coax into the cabin.
I plan on adding a slide in camper at some point soon so my antenna mounting options seem to be the front fenders or and/or the front brush guard (if I add one). The firewall seems to be pretty busy under the hood.
For power I plan to use the AUX/upfitter panel - pass through and then ground to the chassis somewhere in the cab. I want to run this to an Andeson Powerpole PD-4 and then plug the two radios into it. Use an in-line amp meter on the source side of the PD-4. I also have a dash cam that I've been plugging into the 12V powerpoint convenient on the dash but I'd like to vacate that in favor of a 12V cigarette socket also connected to the PD-4.
It looks like there may be a usable path through the 4x4 floor selector. Or possibly the existing firewall grommet that maybe has the speedo cable? Better ideas?
Thanks!
Marshall
