2023 Ram 3500 tailgate won’t reinstall

I’m trying to put my tailgate back on and can not get the pivot to go back into to hanger bracket on the passenger or right side. I’ve tilted the tailgate 45 degrees and cannot get the pivot to slide back into the hanger bracket. If I pull the tailgate to the right to disconnect the pivot on the left side I can the get the right side pivot to slide into the hanger. Your thoughts please

A helper is def recommended. The gate is kinda bulky to see what’s going on while trying not to bust up the paint. I think 45deg is a bit much, maybe try a little less. Here’s rams video on the process

Thanks. I had looked at the video. Solved problem by using a screwdriver between the pivot and hanger and prying back and forth until the pivot was fully in the hanger. Problem solved.
