For those with the 2023 trucks, how do you like the new exterior mirrors vice the moose antlers?

I love them. The blind spot mirror is the right direction whether the mirrors are in tow mode or not.

My 5500 is on a train from Mexico as I write this. I have been wondering about the new mirrors, I really loved the mirrors my 2015 3500 had. These new ones look smaller?

I love the new mirrors. Not only do I think they look better but I don't have to "get used to" the mirror orientation like I did after rotating the old ones.

In addition, my new mirrors are power folding, telescoping, and power convex mirrors. It may not seem like much, but those features are extremely convenient! I don't know if the old mirrors had power convex but I'm pretty sure they didn't go "Moose Mode" by the push of a button.

Many times I'd get into my truck after hooking up the trailer only to look at my passenger side mirror, cuss, and get out to flip it up.. lol

Keep in mind, my old truck was a 2009 an only the main mirror was power/heated.

I just got a new leftover 2022 Ram 2500 and I wish badly mine had the new style mirror. As soon as I can find a set whether they are aftermarket or OEM I’m going to get them

I agree that the new ones are nice looking, but I haven't even sat in a new Ram to check them out. I should probably go to town and visit the dealer to see what I am getting.
It doesn't really matter now, I sold my 2015 so I guess I will get used to the new ones.

I'm sorry I missed your post here.

I think they look "Smaller" as they're not as wide. The small mirror is on the bottom now giving that illusion.

The surface area of the (previous design) main mirror seems smaller when I get back into my old truck.

I'm trying to find the surface area of the two for comparison.. lol

I flipped the mirrors up to moose mode the day I bought it because I hated the convex mirrors in down mode. I was reminded of this when I flipped them back down to sell the pickup.
I was backing a boat trailer this last weekend with my SIL's Ford Expedition and realized how nice the Ram mirrors are.

I’m enjoying the new style mirrors on my 23. I would very rarely flip the mirrors up on my 14 for towing but when I did the change in orientation always bothered me and something always seemed to need adjusted. In the 23 that doesn’t seem to be the case where they are “in” or telescoped out.

I like both mirrors being power and heated, I like the look, but I haven't towed with them yet. They seem like a lot less glass than the old moose mirrors.

The 23 mirrors are an improvement in every possible way! Visibility, lighting, memory , power extend...SO glad I wasn't able to find a 22 on the lot when I was getting antsy waiting on my 23 order!

The moose mirrors have been the deal breaker for me over the years - I really like the new style both aesthetically and functionally.

The new mirrors have more "wobble" in them going down the highway than the old ones. That's been my experience. They are kinda like big kites after all.

Mine don’t wobble at all. If you’re getting vibration I’d talk to your dealer.

Yeah, I feel like mine are very stable as well.

Stereo/sub will make the glass vibrate a little though.. lol
