They've finally put the 2023 build and price up for the chassis cabs, and the options at least on a 5500 Limited (only one I checked) are even worse than things were a couple weeks ago when I ordered - tons of stuff missing, no Level 1 or Level A, and you can't even add the 12" UConnect radio.

Hopefully that's all glitches in the site and not reflective of what is actually able to be ordered today.

And that's a bad thing?

Prices have edged up a bit. Just spec'd out a new one like my '22, which was $80,250 MSRP. The '23 is $88,420....with a smaller screen. 10% in a year seems a little stiff.

Heck my ‘22 was up over 5% just from time of order to time of delivery, not even a MY change.

It is from the point of view that either 1. the new configurator is broken (hopefully), or 2. the supply issues are worse than expected. Many things that were on my order from late December are not even visible in the configurator which is not a good sign.

I don't think the configurator was ever accurate during the MY 22 build cycle, at least it never was when I saw it and I started looking heavily at it from the time it came out until now.

Costco's auto build website was much more accurate and kept up to date.

I noticed the exact same thing pricing a 2023 5500 several times over the last week or so.

Seems like every other day something changes.
I am with you, bugs in logic, or supply.
Glitches like that in production software are dumb, totally unavoidable, and at Ram's level should be very rare.
My guess is supply or some weird approach to order logistics ballet.

Yeah mine was too. Ordered Dec '21, arrived early April '22 and it had gone up 4-5%. I didn't even know that was a thing. The dealer said it had price protection automatically so they just took it off the value of my trade-in. Bastards. They had me over a barrel and they knew it. Last time I'll ever darken their door. I'll hop a bus to Louisiana or Des Moines next time if I have to rather than deal with my local dealer 10 miles away.
