I have a 2023 ram 2500. Put new tires on it. Has 15k miles. Have a vibration in the rear. Took it in 3 times and had tires rebalanced. Me and my mechanic buddy put on hoist today. Ran it and you can see tire shuck back and forth. Thought was bad tire or rim. Put tire from front on back. Same thing. He is thinking rear axle is bent. What your thought?

It would not be the axle it would likely be a badly machined hub since the axle is a fully floating axle the shafts and housing wont have a wobble…. I have seen a duramax with a rear hub out by .080 from the factory so its possible, best way to confirm is run a dial indicator on the hub face and rotate the hub it will tell you all you need to know

It could also be a poorly machined rotor face where it sits on the hub just another thing to check

I purchase a 2023 ram rebel last year, it was a dealers trade, when I got the truck with 400 miles it had a bad vibration from the rear. Brought it back and they said it was my tire so they replaced a tire, couple hundred miles later another tire. Dealer said my tires so I ended up purchasing brand new bfgoodrich ko3, after 800 miles vibrations back and rear tires feathered, brought it back to dealer they said nothing wrong and they have issues with bfgoodrich tires, which sounds bs, I brought it to my friend shop and we spin the tires in the air and the both rear tires wobbling. Was wondering if you ever gotten that vibration fixed. I told the dealership but they said nothing was wrong with my rear diff. Wondering if you ever gotten that issue fixed.
