Confirmed lifter failure at 31K miles on a 2023 SO. Dealer is going on week 7 to replace cam/lifters/rockers, no loaner, and no help from FCA on an escalated case. Now the dealer is charging me labor for “removing the running boards” so that they could lift the cab for repairs. The steps were installed by the dealer I purchased the truck from before delivery.

Does this sound legit? I’m beyond frustrated with this whole situation. Love the truck, but holy hell what a nightmare

Thats a load of crap they should have the pads that can lift the cab with the steps on even then its 30 seconds per side to remove them with an impact

I am a little bit surprised that they don't just swap it out for a different engine.
