Hi all.
I'm new to this forum, my first post etc., but certainly no stranger to RAM trucks. However, this is my first HD model.
I've already have found a ton of useful info on this forum in regards to assessories, etc. and very much appreciative of that info.
I purchased this 2023 2500 Tradesman w/6.4L gasser back in November 2023. Love the truck, use it mostly for long hauls and now have just a tad under 5000 miles on it.
The truck had been sitting on the dealer's lot for almost a year so after the purchase, I put a 1000 miles on it and had the dealer do an oil/filter change and check/top off the differentials as I was fixing to tow a light-weight trailer for about 2000 miles .
On the way home from yesterday's run, I got my first CEL. I have alphaOBD and Scanner software from my 2015 1500 ECD days so I checked for codes and found: P1D73 which is the Active Grille Shutters.
I checked the shutters, none were loose or out of their slots. Electrical cable was all in place, looked fine and could see nothing out of place or any kind of foreign objects that might be jamming the shutters.
I cleared the code, but couldn't find anything in alphaOBD where I could force a test on the shutters.
We had a lot of rain yesterday so I'm hoping that it may have been just a fluke.
Anyone else run into this code on a new truck?
Obviously, IF it happens to toss that code again, I'll be taking it to the dealer for analysis.

FWIW: per the suggestion of a fellow member here, I checked all the fuses to ensure that they were well-seated.
Not a single one of em was all the way down, nada...not a one, and a few were about half-way out!!
I pushed em all down and have not seen this code, or any others, since.
Fingers crossed...lol.

I found the same issue when I took possession of my new truck; most of the caps were seated only 50% of the way if that. The dealer was quite surprised. I wasn't because I learned from this forum to check those fuses.
