Have a 2023 1500 40K miles and Saturday cranked truck up at Walmart and check engine light comes on and truck is rough. Took to dealership on Saturday and find out today one of the lifters has failed. I mean come on 40K miles and lifter failure. How long till the others fail? Had a 17 and no issues, that's why I bought another RAM. Warranty ran out at 36K. This is just great. I goggled RAM 1500 lifter and first thing that comes up is RAM crank shaft/lifter failure im 5.7 HEMI.

Also this is the #1 common problem with hemi. you should have known this before you bought. Doesnt matter what tricks you do or if you baby your truck... You can still get the infamous hemi tick. Theres people who get lifter failure with less miles than yours. Luck of the draw really.
