The process was pretty simple as stated in all the other posts I could find (except it's 5 bolts including the seat belt in the middle). The problem is finding the plug I disconnected on the driver side! When I reinstalled the seat I couldn't find the plug. There are two wiring plugs coming out of the floor, passenger side gray and driver side black, but only the black driver side was connected. It's a Tradesman with no frills like heated seats, seatbelt warning, or footwell lights so there's really no reason for it to be in the seat but I removed that side upholstery enough to look in there. No joy. The truck runs fine with no warning lights. Anyone know what that plug is for and WHERE it comes from?

I can look at my truck later, but I can’t imagine why there would be a plug going into the tradesman rear seat either. I think in the upper class models there’s a module jimmy 07 had mentioned, but that shouldn’t apply.

I agree. The seat was removed for upholstery repair and the guy may not have left the plug out when he put it back together. Even if it serves no purpose I want it back like it was. Thanks for looking.

I'll try to take a look later, but it looks like I had the connectors clipped to the seat frame, but nothing connected into them on my 22 tradesman's original bench seat. These are from during the removal process.

That may answer my problem. I know I disconnected the drivers side plug from somewhere and it looks like the dummy plug on the frame fits the bill. I’ll check tomorrow. It’s too late tonight.
