Been using Griots products since 2000 on all my vehicles and motorcycles, nothing better imo. I use their Interior Detailer as shown above and nothing else since leather is sealed.
Sealed leather has a top coating to protect it from moisture. Hence it doesn’t take conditioner like untreated leather does. That’s why they say to simply use a damp cloth to clean.Help me understand what “sealed” leather means?

While I can't say that it will, the jury is out on whether it would hurt it or not although there's lot's of posts elsewhere of people stating it did ruin there seats. My thing is this, prove that conditioning sealed leather is a benefit, In my research none of the vendors can prove it does. Imo there's no benefit to doing so since the conditioner can't penetrate the sealant to do it's job. If water can't penetrate it then neither can the conditioner and if it does then it's harming the sealed surface.
No clue just stated they were sealed leather seats in mostCurious if those ruined seats were bonded leather or top grain "premium" leather. Big difference IMHO.
Exactly, I use the Griots Interior Cleaner as well and nothing else. It's gentle enough to use on the electronics screens yet cleans the interior well. Using conditioners is just wasting money, but hey it's not my money. On the subject of it it ruins it or not, before I knew the leather in my 75th was sealed I used a leather conditioner made by Griots. Its been 10k miles since use and the seats still look new so I doubt it hurts them any. However as stated above it doesn't help anything either. I just use some quality interior cleaner and it works great.
Do the Laramie seats have factory sealer? I have the light fawn color and worried about keeping clean. Thanks for ideas. No, seats are factory sealed. Don’t use conditioner. Do use leather cleaner.
