What are you guys seeing for DEF usage and regen frequency on the 2022 6.7? I just turned 2700 miles on my 2500 Laramie and added 2.5 gallons of DEF which bought the gage to 3/4 full. I’m now recording time and distance between regens but it’s done at least 4 times in the 2700 miles.

Do some seraching its been gone over lots… every 24hr run time it regens (unless DPF reaches high soot level) and about 1 jug of def every 1k miles

Mine runs about 1 gal of DEF per 1,000 miles. I've been through 3 of the 2.5 gal jugs of DEF and i'm right at 7500 miles, with 3/4 of a tank of DEF in the truck now.
Thanks for the responses! My truck did another regen this morning two weeks to the day from the last. 282 miles between and at 112 hours. That 112 hours is pretty close to what @H3LZSN1P3R statement of every 24 hours. The thing that gets me is I was on my way to work and continued driving for the extra 20 minutes and 20 highway miles ending at work a few minutes after the regen completed. The DPF gage was at 0. I left work and got 4 miles into my 9 mile commute driving 40-70MPH and the gage went up to 1/8. After starting the truck I only let it idle for about two minutes until the coolant temp surpassed 100 degrees. I don't get how the filter could clog 12.5% so quickly.
The first one I ever caught. I left it on the DPF screen. I was up to about 45% and then the message came on.
I was driving home but decided to take it on the highway to see how long it would regen for.
Took about 25 mins. I was doing 70-85 mhp most of the time.

Have you left your evic on the DPF screen? Also what are your total engine hours?

He is most likely just at the verge or a regen being that it is in KM not miles 2500km depending on driving speeds puts him right in and around 24hrs

Ok if you want to know if your truck is in active regen it needs to be on the DPF screen. If not, other than a little deeper growl and dropping MPg you would be none the wiser.

Hmmmmmm... I DID notice a drop in MPG on the way up here from Windsor (9 hr drive). Is there any way to see if a regen occurred?

If your engine hours (total) are past 24 I’d pretty much bet the bank on it. But other than that I’m not sure.

Basically the truck is cleaning the DPF without doing an actual regen because it has enough load and is running hot enough

Wonder how often that actually happens ..... those are pretty high exhaust temperatures.
