Hey...
So this 4500 is a chassis with a service body. About 6 months ago it randomly acts like the battery is dead, get in the cab, it turns the dash on, push brake pedal and start button, just clicks one time. I can sit in the cab sometimes and it seems like the system resets after 15-20 seconds, I'll try the push start again and it'll start. Other times, I have the fob against the start button and it'll start on the 4th or 5th try. Still other times I hook up cables and wait a few minutes then it'll start. I have even popped the hood, moved another car beside it pulled my cables out and for kicks tried the button and it started normally. I do have a remote start installed but have disconnected it completely and still had the issue. I've checked all the grounds I could find, replaced the starter relay. Clueless, hard to believe the starter would be bad so soon. Thoughts or suggestions? I was thinking a bad fob battery but it works every time.
