2022 3500 Trailer brake Controller.

I installed an Oem trailer brake controller in my 2022 3500 Tradesman. After dealer flash, I get “service trailer brake system”. Fuses are good, everything is plugged in correctly. I’ve talked to 3 dealers trying to order one and they couldn’t one for 2022 3500 Tradesman. The last, telling me my truck isn’t compatible. I don’t understand that because it’s wired for it, it’s got fuses for it and it was able to be dealer added with the flash. Does anyone have any info on this?

What is the part number of the trailer brake controller you installed? It’s not an eBay knockoff kit, is it?

It was pulled from my 2020 1500, which I installed in a while back. One dealer said it should be the same, others couldn’t verify compatibility. Now, last dealer says there is no brake control for 2022 3500. I’m happy to order a different one, but I can’t get straight information from any dealers.

It was OEM purchased from dealership.

1500 controller is no good in an HD ram. You need part number 68413389AC
