Does anyone know the hitch size and height on the 2021 2500 with air suspension? Upgrading from a 2008 1500 I am looking at if I will need a 2in or 2.5in and drop amount.

I went from a 2019 1500 to a 2020 2500. The 2500 is tall. I had to get a 6" drop for my WDH, 5 3/4" drop ball mount for local camper towing, and picked up an adjustable 8" hitch for everything else. Receiver is 2.5", and I wish more 2.5" stuff was available. I get lots of slop using the sleeve.

2.5 in for sure. B &W turnover ball works great. Have had loaded with 10k on a 1400 mile trip. No issues. 5 in drop. Could use a bit more when towin lighter loads but level at that amount of weight in the second to top hole when you factor in the squat. 3500 no air suspension.

6” is pretty much standard drop required for your typical utility trailers and boats... the receiver is 2.5” but you get an adapter with the truck to use 2” ball mounts as well

The 2500 has a 2.5" receiver. My truck came with a insert so it will work with 2" hitches.
I did have to buy a new drop bar for my hitch. Went with a 7" drop 10" rise bar as my camper sits pretty low.

Check this out, it may help.
