Hello All,
I have a 2021 Ram 2500 Hemi. Cannot find which crush washer size to get to replace the old one when I do the first oil change at 3000 miles. I am sure it is not any different than the past 3 years but I want to make sure. Thanks

i have never changed them in the 1000s of oil changes i have done over the years unless damaged, i know the dealer does not change them when you get an oil change there

Ok thanks, I was taught to change them but that might have been the car I learned on. I would think that the new cars would have better washers that do not need this. Makes my life easier, plus less money.

some vehicles come with crushable washers ie I have several honda vehicles and they come with an aluminum washer that is designed to be replaced. Some vehicles like the my Ram and jeeps come with a built in rubber washer that is part of the drain plug and is not designed to need replacing.

Even them dont need to be changed if they are not over torqued
