2021 5500 Chassis Cab Torque numbers

Just curious, I am considering upgrading from my 2019 3500. Can you not buy or have ordered a 2021 5500 Chassis cab with the HO engine? I want a 2021 5500 limited with the 1,075 Ft/lb torque?

The chassis cabs are usually de rated for duty cycle. I have not seen the literature for 2021 yet...but my guess is the Cummins will not have 1075 in the chassis cab.

For instance...the 2019 was rated for 360 and 800. So even less than the SO.

Well that's a bummer, I was hoping to custom order one with the high torque output since I will be using it as a custom hauler.

800 is nothing to scoff at. I used to pull full size backhoes around on the back of class 7 crew trucks with 700. I wouldn't be surprised to learn the factory torque management tuning on those is less aggressive allowing more of the peak through under load since there's room left in the drivetrain ratings.
