We sold our 2011 RAM 3500 Laramie in January and 2 days later ordered a 2021 3500, 4x4, CC, SB, HO w/AISIN Laramie (loaded) from the factory. There was nothing wrong with the previous truck and it only had 125K on it. It served us very well for the 10 years we had it and took us on many adventures in our 5th wheel with our RVing friends. It is amazing the leaps that have been made in technology since 2011....that is one of the things that sold us! We are anxious to get the new one and put it to work. Looking forward to interactions on this forum.

Like you, I have a 3500 Laramie on order since the middle of January. Can't wait until delivery.

I got my vin within days. Supposedly delivery week of March 22. I ordered a Hemi version so that probably makes a difference. Also best as I can tell I got my order in before the blind spot chip shortage (fingers crossed anyway)

Yeah, I am hoping we got the order in before the "chip" fiasco too. It did get ordered before the shortage was made public and the dealer never said anything about it at the time.

My dealer never said anything either. My build sheet has the proper codes to have the blind spot chip. From what I can read certain build codes got changed once the chip shortage happened.

If you have the new build codes on your build sheet you definitely won't get blind spot monitoring.

When did you order? The "Build Sheet" from the dealer when I ordered DOES have the "old" codes for the A67 Laramie Level 2, XAN Blind Spot & Crosspath Detection and AAU Safety Group.

I ordered mid January. It includes Lv1 A66 and towing technology group AAN which includes XAN.

Thank you for the reply ckreef. I know some of the packages do have redundant components. I had an email this morning saying the truck is expected at the dealer the week of 16 April. That will be 11.5 weeks from order date. Still haven't seen the build & VIN populated on the website yet. My latest chat with FCA said all the parts have been pulled and the truck will be entering the build process soon.

Curious which website has the build and VIN?

GBB,
I got this link from here on this website, I think: Equipment Listing When you type in your VIN it will show all of the equipment associated if the vehicle has been built. You can also "chat' with FCA at: Chat Just select the "Chat" button in the upper left corner. You can also call them at 866-726-4636. I have been chatting and checking the VIN every couple days or so. The chat has been helpful in giving me status, but others have said it really depends on who is on the other end. Hope this helps!

Thanks..received my VIN yesterday but nothing showing up on “equipment listing“ yet. They said mid April delievery...so prolly isn’t on production line yet.

I got my "populated" build list yesterday (27 March). Truck was ordered 26 January. It "DOES" show that "Blind Spot & Cross Path" detection is included on the build. I have not been able to pull down a window sticker as of yet and am anxious to see if those items are listed on there too.

I ordered my truck 1/9 before the chip shortage with blindspot monitoring. It shows on both the build sheet, and window sticker. Haven't taken delivery of the truck yet.
