Hey everyone, just picked up my new 3500 and looking at either Thuren or Carli level kits. I'm trying to get some lift and mainly smooth out the ride. Carli has a 2.5" with 1' rear leaf spring blocks and Thuren offers a 2.25" or 1.75" front coil lift without a rear block. When I measured the stock front to rear height difference, it's right at about 2" rake plus or minus 1/8". I was planning on running stock wheels with 285X75 (35") tires or possibly if the budget allows a 35X12.50 tire and wheel package. Looks like if I went with Thuren I would go with the 1.75" springs up front and no rear block or the Carli 2.5" with a rear block. I'll get the Fox shocks at all four corners and Track Bar.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

I have thuren 2.25 front and added the carli 1" block in the rear. I'm also running thuren fox reservoir shocks on all 4 corners. I was right around 1.75" of rake front to rear maybe a little more so almost identical to yours. The front lifted 2.75" and the rear lifted 1".

I’m probably doing that spring combo (Thuren 2.25”) on a new 3500 whenever I order it. I’ve got his King 3.0 shocks that can go on with it. And run 37s. Not sure what I’m doing on the rear, but likely a block and 2.0s until pulling the trigger in waiting for King 2.5 and his Leafs.

Currently have the 1” front and 1/2” lowering rear springs on this 2500 with the Fox 2.0 and 285/75/18 (35x11.5). I wouldn’t want a lot of extra height over this with this size tire.

loveracing1988 your truck looks great, lot of great mods. I keep going back and forth on running stock wheels with 285-75's or getting new wheels and larger tires. Getting up in age now so have to make a decision on which way to go. Haven't read all the post's on your attachment yet but I'll check it all out!!

How's the ride compared to stock, I'm sure night and day better.

RPS1030 hope you get your 3500 soon and thanks for the input

I have the 1" Thuren coils, Fox shocks and a Thuren track bar. 18" wheels and about a 34" tire. Running 60 psi front and 40 psi rear when not towing. Much improved ride.

Thank you,
I wouldn't mind a skinny 35 like a 285/75r18 but I wanted different rims. If I can figure out a way to store a 37 spare that's what I'll go to next.
I really didn't mind the truck stock, I don't get all of the complaints really about ride quality, my 2020 3500 rides better than my 2014 2500 ever did. That being said yes it is night and day better, the biggest improvement is the Thuren sway bar though.

How do you like the 1” thuren coils up front? I’m planning for later and like the idea of the .5” thuren front coils as I don’t want much lift. Do you have anyone in the rear other than shocks? Thanks

I love the coils up front. Leaves about one inch of rake which is what I wanted. The rear is completely stock.

Have you guys thought about the Thuren or Carli full rear leaf springs?
I wonder if the rear springs would make as much improvement as replacing the front springs and worth the expense?

Thanks again for all your input and suggestions

In multiple Dodges/Rams over the years, my personal feeling does lead to the rear being a lot of the harshness/bucking. It's a balancing act of ride vs weight handling. The Thuren description and weight chart on his leaf springs is intruiging. I'm also willing to try and wait given the leadtime.

I had Thurens rear soft ride coils in the rear of my 2500. Rode great empty, but with my fifth wheel felt squirrelly. I had supplemental airbags. I know coils vs leafs ect, but the ride doesn't bother me, so on my new 3500 I'm leaving the rear alone.
