In my 2021 2500 manual page 187 and other pages the axle lock selector picture is not like my actual axle selector. I have read on this forum that the axle unlock light on the selector that is showing in my manual is only a light and not a button. My actual axle unlock is a pushable button and a light.

This is my actual selector.

My understanding on what the manual is stating is that if the axle light is on the axles are locked. My axle unlock light is on all the time and from what the manual is stating my axles are locked. This cannot be accurate. I have brought this to the attention of the dealer that sold me my truck and they told me that their service people state that this axle unlock light is supposed to be on telling me that the axles are unlocked. My local dealer service manager is telling me on the phone basically what the manual is stating that if my axle unlock light is on my axles are locked, but possibly I am having an issue with the selector lights. I know my axles cannot be locked. I have searched online and even asked the dealer for information on my actual selector buttons and have not found anything other than what is stating/showing in my manual. Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
