Hey everyone, you guys have helped me out before big time! Hopefully I can get some guidance again!

This morning my fiancé took the truck to work. Called me in the driveway saying she used remote start and then couldn’t get it to go into run after. I went outside and I couldnt even get the truck to turn off. I had to press the remote start on the key fob again and the truck finally shut off. Then got a message on dash telling me to hold the key fob up to the start/stop button. That worked and fired the truck up and it was fine. Possible I have a bad battery in the key fob?

Well both of my keys do it. So I guess it could be possible they both are going bad. I mean the truck is a 2020 lol. Kinda weird

Not saying that is the problem at the end but changing the batteries is the first and easiest to do in terms of trouble shooting. Batteries were likely from the same batch so it is possible that both are dead. Usually you will see a low battery indicationin the EVIC before they die completely however. Good luck

Yeah I’ll try that. See what happens. I’m just more nervous because I couldn’t shut the truck off by pressing the start stop this morning and had to hit the remote start on the key fob to shut it off.

Okay. Will give it a shot! Like I said it makes me very nervous after seeing it this morning and literally had to use my key fob to turn truck off cause I couldn’t get the start/stop to go to “run” and it just kept blinking. Iv heard there is a switch you can manually flip under the dash to turn it off but idk where.

Also I made a post not to long ago about a weird clicking noise and dealership said it was Intake grid heaters. It was not the case, if anyone gets what I explain in my previous post it was my grill shutter actuator. Dealer replaced and no more noise!
