my 2020 radesman has the halogen bulbs..dodnt want that fancy stuff..basic farm thruck here..anyways..te headlight s could be better..what a pita to change bulbs...I haven't attempted it yet..want some silverstars in the low beams at least.....think they come out the front easier cuz getting o the back of that headlight isn't gonna be easy

There are a few youtube videos but they are really easy to change just pop the housings out, i would avoid silverstars the piaa bulbs are great though

Agreed, I'm not impressed w/ the stock halogens at all. Upgrading the some Baja Designs fogs and Diode Dynamic LED headlight bulbs...or maybe PIAA's....not sure yet....

I have had some $50 katanas for my low beams from amazon in my truck for a year now. They are bright as hell, crystal clear, great cutoff. Only issue is, the drl setting made them strobe, but I just turned that off in settings.

Have you had issues w/ the Silverstars? Was looking at those or the PIAA's...
Silverstars are just cheap trash i find they are just as useless as the factory bulbs and they tend to die out faster the piaa bulbs are more money but much better light output and lifespan

My Bighorn was supposed to come with factory LED headlights. It did not. I waiting on the dealership to install LEDs. It requires an adapter otherwise plug in play.

My sons 08 Jeep has great headlights why can’t they use that technology in the trucks!

I've been planning on doing pod lights with a range of adjustment to help cover my ditches and when alone on the backroads , a nice bar for straight distance.

One of the nicest things about my Prius is the lights and I didn't realize how much the halogens on my tradesman would bother me. It's like having candles in comparison.

I'll be looking at the bulbs squatch mentioned. 50$ could be pretty cheap if it's as noticeable as he says. I don't care about DRL function

Description from amazon of exactly what I got if that helps. They are 10% off right now too. Just a heads up, it takes a little patience getting the decoder box stuffed into the headlight casing, but it all fits inside so the dust cover can be placed. I ran the wiring harness and box in first and then twisted the led bulb into place.

cool thanks..silverstars been good for me...I have em in my 02 sport light ..they been great...and I have a set already so....thanks for the help..learning easy tricks for stuff
is always the best....

I havnt found that led are anything but misaligned and obnoxious to others. Haven't tried any of the very new ones but the older ones the reflectors not being made for that gave a very poor presentation....I think the led would be a great upgrade but all the hype and the scattered patterns have just made them seem to not work very well....if anyone has any that reproduce the same pattern of light id be all in on that

I’ll take a picture of mine against the wall when I get home, the cutoff is really defined, doesn’t appear scattered at all

I've been looking at these guys.... https://www.headlightrevolution.com

They do have sample beam pics. I've been right on the edge of trying their bulbs. Thought about trying high beam bulbs first, and then if I like them get the low beam.

That's really the main reason that I upgraded to the Longhorn from my Laramie. When I bought mine in June of 19, you couldn't get LEDs on the Laramie. The lights are bright, pretty well defined and worth it. I had a 12 and a 16 before this. The 16 had the projector lenses with the halogen bulbs and they sucked. And you're right...it's a pain to change them. You have to pull the entire headlight housing to do it.

They also put together this video that I thought was very informative when shopping LED bulbs for my wife's Durango.

Did you buy anything from them, and if so how did it turn out?
I ordered the S-V.4 based on what I saw, but just received the email this morning that they'd shipped.

I currently have the Opt7 Fluxbeam in there and wasn't very impressed. The video showing how their numbers confirmed my experience was what led me to go for their recommendation.

As soon as they show up I'll be happy to report my experience.

The factory LED lights don’t require any adapters, just a settings change with AlfaOBD.

Thanks. I had been looking at the Ultra-2 based on their recommendation over the S-V.4. If the S-V.4 do well, all the better given that they are a little cheaper. I see there is currently a sale on both the GTR and S-V.4, so that works. They also told me that the 19+ 1500 high beam options will work in the 19+ 2500/3500.
