I know a leveling kit is out of the question right now for the factory air ride trucks... but I have 35’s from my previous 2500 that fit with that stock suspension (non air ride). I want to install them on my new truck. Has anyone had any issues with installing larger wheels/tires and the factory air ride acting up or am I good?

2019 2500 factory air ride truck. Carli 2.5 level in front with fox shocks, Carli track bar and Carli sway bar, Thuren 1” extended rear air ride links and Fox shocks in the rear. 35” Nitto’s and no issues whatsoever.

Nice!! That is pretty dang similar to what I have been taking notes on for my future truck.
Did you do anything with the radius arms? When I price those kits out they are an expensive option..
I've seen some VERY positive reviews on the Sway bar. How do you like the ride?
Was the adjustable track bar needed to get your axle aligned? How difficult was that to adjust?
When I built my Tundra up I added new a-arms and King Coilovers for the front, but that is a completely different front end... So as I move from 1st Gen Tundra to a HD truck I have a lot to learn.... Did you do the install yourself?

I think these are the parts @Btdench is referring to.

Thanks. I didn’t do anything with the radius arms. I originally thought about the radius arm drops, but after speaking with the guys at CJC, they said with the leveling kit more times than not, the radius arm drops are not needed. So I opted to try it first without (since it’s a big added expense) and I haven’t had any issues. I did the leveling kit, track bar, shocks and rear air ride links at first and the ride compared to stock was amazing.

Then I read more reviews and watched videos on the sway bar, so needless to say I added that as well. It’s definitely an improvement, but I think I would’ve noticed it more if I did that first. But you definitely don’t get that rocking back and forth pulling into a driveway or going over a speed bump if it’s not head on. (I had previously wacked my head in the side window while watching the side view mirror and backing into my driveway, but not anymore)

the track bar centers the axle back under the truck and I’ve never done a leveling kit without one. Beefier than stock and the alignment is dead on so it’s great. The track bar was a bitch to align both ends while setting the torque on the adjustment but, but we got it. And not hard at all to install.
Two buddies and I did the leveling kit with the track bar and put my 35’s on in a driveway in about 3-3.5 hours. It wasn’t bad at all.
I did the sway bar by myself in a driveway in about an hour.

Thanks @Btdench! I did some of the work on my Tundra, but compressing those front coil overs was always a challenge without the correct tools. Heck of a lot cheaper to to be able to work on it myself than to have a shop do it. Appreciate the info.
I really enjoy CJC's videos. They do a good job explaining things. Did you have a good experience using them for your setup?

No problem! Oh I’m sure the coil overs are a pain, but with the radius arms in these trucks the springs seem to fall out when you droop the front axle.

I definitely had a great experience using CJC. They were very helpful when I called. Luckily I got my kit just before the world shut down. Although I did wait a little longer for my sway bar because that was ordered during the pandemic, but that was no ones fault.

I would highly recommend ordering your stuff from CJC and if you have any questions you can call them or email them and they’ll help you out.

Do you have a gas or diesel model?
