2020 2500 Big Horn license plate light won’t shut off.

Just noticed that my rear license plate lights stay on and don’t shut off, my neighbors said he saw them on the other night. Is there a switch that I don’t know about?

Nope. Sounds like a shorted wire possibly. I’d follow the harness starting at the lights and work back towards the cab. Or dealer time for warranty if you prefer. It would be covered under the 3yr/36k

Check your 7pin trailer plug it can also be culprit of some electrical issues but it may not be your issue as its only the plate lights on your truck but something to check

Good catch, had issue with it last time I towed the RV

Think I found the problem. Opened the main connector to the trailer and plate lights and it had some condensation and some corrosion.
