My current truck a 2019 Ram 2500 with 19k on the factory TransForce tires, I need to get a new set of tires and new rims before winter sets in in Wisconsin and get rid of the wagon wheels. I'm working on some order sheets with Sandi and Aaron at Mark Dodge on a 2022 3500 to replace the 2500 and would just swap rims/tires when the new truck shows up. My question is I want to stick with 18" wheel diameter as tires are cheaper than 20" tires and ride better but looking at my oem rim the ET is +57.15. The rims I want Helo HE90489080700 are Offset 0 in an 18' and the same rim in a 20" Helo HE90429080718 is +18.

I don't want to add flares to the new 2022 and can this be right that the OEM offset is +57.15 and how much would the 18" 0 offset and the 20" +18 offset stick out past the fender without flares. Any help or pics would be helpful

BTW yesterday someone at Walmart parked a cart right next to my passenger front tire side step that I could not see and when I took off I hit the cart hitting my front door leaving 3 nice dents in my door for me even thou I parked in the back Forty.

Thanks for the pic, I had a 2015 3500 with American Outlaw Buckshot 18 X8.5 8-165.10 with 275/70R18 Copper STMaxx on them and they did not stick out that far. Did they change axles since 2015. And I don't remember the offset being +57.15mm on the 2015 but maybe it was.

Just go to the custom offsets website, you can filter down the truck, wheel specs and tires to see a bunch of trucks in their picture gallery to narrow down what you’re looking for.

How wide are the wheels being considered? Offset is only one component to consider, as the stockers are 8" wide and depending on the aftermarket options, 8.5, 9, 10, etc... will be very different with either of those offsets.

As Squatch mentioned above, you can get a good idea of the look you're going for by viewing the gallery on the custom offsets website. Anything for the 4th gen will fit and look the same on the 4.5 gen.

It will show you the visual of how the new wheel/tire compares to the original size

Both of the Helo wheels 18" and 20" are 9" wide, the 18" has an offset of 0 and the 20" has an offset of +18 and I'm trying to avoid the brodozer look. I will look over custom offsets website as they are only about 120 miles from me, btw thanks for that.

Where can I see the sig line? Id like to know the size of the tires and wheel offset etc.

Thank you! I was not aware that worked! Love the look on both trucks

Thanks guys for posting what you have installed, the only problem I have found is most wheels in 18" with +18 or even in +12 are on backorder that I like. I might have to just get my tires for now and wait for inventory on wheels to catch back up.

For a 9" wheel +18 or +20 is the sweet spot if you want your tires mostly covered. Some like the wheels to out a little more. +0 will give you that without going Brodozer. You start getting in the larger minus offset range you are looking to join that club. It's all good if people like it that way cuz it's their truck. Plus, I like a good laugh sometimes.

This is 17 x 9 +20 with a 37 x 12.50 tire.

That's about what I'm looking for, only problem is the lack of any inventory in a +18 or +20 currently in a 18" wheel that I care for.
