Just chiming in after finding this forum. I had a 2003 F250 w/7.3L, a much coveted truck due to the engine, and after haggling with the Ford dealer and actually signing papers, the wife and I walked off the lot because she panicked because we were $10K over budget. On the way home she wanted to go back to the RAM dealer. The wife being well educated in truck terminology from my two years of research, caught the first person she saw (sales manager taking pictures for an online sale) and dropped all the terms on him in about 30 seconds. Stunned, he invited us to his desk, pulled up the on the lot inventory sheet and as he was going through them, she was saying no, maybe and finally yes to two trucks. Long story short, we got $10K for the F250, $10K off MSRP and bought the truck within budget. Then she drove MY truck home!!!
