quick question, does a rambox equip truck stop you from installing and pulling a fifth wheel ,a used car lot thinks that its not recomended, thanks

It very much limits your options. It's been done, but it's tricky.

I certainly wouldn't want to deal with the ramboxes for that and other reasons.

It does severely limit your hitch options. Only one I've seen people successfully using is the Sidewinder.

Doesn’t that move the pivot to rear of the pin box and take a plate to keep it from swinging in the hitch?

If so you can’t use it with a companion unless you drill two holes in the frame to bolt down the base plate.

I also just bought a factory ram hitch, so a Curt. And it says no go also.

Just throwing it out there cause that further limits your options.

I think another option I've seen is the Anderson ultimate hitch and the Reese goose box. No matter which way you go, it seems to add a considerable expense and can be tricky depending on how the 5er is setup. It's the biggest downside of the rambox IMHO. After much consideration, I'll just be sticking with a TT.
