2019 Body Change?

I was sent the wrong bed step. The dealer parts guy is telling me there are two bodies on the HDs for the 2019. I hadn’t seen anything like that. Am I living under a rock, or is he confused with the 1500’s? I gave him my vin and he says I have the older body, but I’ve been looking at everyone’s pictures on here for months and don’t see anything different?

I went through this too. There are not two bodies on the HDs and the bodies on the 19s are similar to the 13-18 trucks. However, the frames and bumpers on the 19s are new and that's why the old step won't fit. The step you received is likely for a 13-18 truck. Go back to your dealer with this P/N: 82215842AC

I went through this too. There are not two bodies on the HDs and the bodies on the 19s are similar to the 13-18 trucks. We did eventually “settle” on that part number. Even with the vin, he seemed to have problems figuring out what would work. The good news is the guy was super helpful and sourced me a step from a dealer that still had one in stock so I’m not back ordered to March. Thanks for the confirmation.
