Hi there, I have a 2019 Ram 2500 hd 4x4 with 6.7L cummins and 72100 miles on it. I want to change my the ball joints and the U joints. When I pull the axles does the truck need to be in a 4X4 mode? I read somewhere that the newer trucks (not all of them) need to be in it otherwise you can't put the shaft back (the passanger side due to the electronic front axle disconnect). None of the Youtube videos mention it, but I want to be sure before I pull the axles. Any advice/tip/help would be appreciated. This is my first diesel (always wanted one).
Thank you
Thank you
