2019 and Up HD Factory LED Durablity

How durable are the gen 4.5 (2019 and up) HD factory LED?

The reason I’m asking I saw some the other day with the drivers side headlight not working but the right side was working.

Has anyone had one fail for non- impact reasons?

I agree and I think the one I saw that was out was the reflector LED version not the adaptive LED ones you added to your truck Chet.

I like your addition of the adaptive LEDs.

I swapped factory halogens to factory LEDs years ago and I’m rough on my truck. Back roads. Trails. Hitting wash doing 100 kmh. Zero issues with my lights.

Only anecdotal here, but this is my second Ram HD with the factory adaptive LED headlights, and my 6th vehicle total with adaptive LED headlights (the other 4 were VWs). I’ve never had a factory LED headlight fail. All but one of those 6 vehicles was offroaded on a regular basis.

my factory reflective leds have been great. truck is all over the country in weather and backroads. they take a beating.
