It seems like every vendors are lost with the change of RAM going to 8x200 for the new dually.

I found a new 17x6.5 set of wheels to fit my new truck when it arrives (2 fronts and 2 rears). Only thing missing are the two inner steel wheels to complete the full set.

I know it's supposed to be the same as a F350 (8x200mm, 142mm centerbore).... But...
Turns out no one wants to confirm theirs steel wheels will fit my truck... They contacted the manufacturer and they are apparently just as lost. Like no one has ever tested one on the new dually.

So... My question for you:

Do you know of a steel 17 x 6.5 wheel that will fit the truck? I want an aftermarket 6.5 to match my new wheels as RAM's are 17x6.
A manufacturer and part number would be appreciated.

I first thought it would be a no-brainer: just go with a set compatible with a F350. But all those vendors hesitations make me think there is more to it.

TIA

No one?

Even the online sellers won't guaranty any fitment. Their best answer is "If you really think F-350 wheels will fit, order them". Yeah buddy, that's what I'm trying to confirm before I order...

I can't possibly be the first one who orders 17in aftermarket wheels on a recent RAM dually???

Let me know what you figure out. I'll be ordering rims and tires in the future for my truck.

No online vendor (including the big ones) was able to answer that question. I'm flabbergasted.

When I get the truck, I'll go to a local vendor to do a test fit. Pretty sure it's as easy as it should but no one can give me a direct answer.

Wow unbelievable!
Yeah that's probably your best option. When does your truck come in?

(BUMP) Reviving this thread as maybe someone will have an answer?

I don’t see any more remarks here as to whether you have found an answer to your question so I’m commenting because I am doing the same research. I have found a site that lists the wheel particulars for both vehicles. It is www.wheel-size.com
According to them, bolt pattern, bolt size, and hub bore are the same. The difference is the offset for the Ford is about 6 mm greater at 142 vs 136 for the Ram given both vehicles are 2020 model year. That’s pretty close to 1/4” and appears to split the difference for a 1/2” wider wheel. I have an RFI sent to Southwest Wheel as to the spec on their replacement wheel for confirmation.
If correct, this would appear to be a nice solution to the concern.
In my case, when the stock tires wear out, I may consider a 245/75 replacement tire as the diameter is about .3” shorter and about .6 mph difference in speedo error at 60 mph.
Cheers

Yeah, they are the same exact wheels as the Ford 8x200mm, 142mm centerbore. Bought wheels listed for a Ford, work great!

I just ordered a set of 17"inners off Amazon. The stock winners when measured with calipers have a 141mm center ore and a 15mm lug bolt hole.
The Amazon wheels have a 142mm center bore and a 17mm lug bolt hole. They are sloppy on the hub. With that, here is nothing to keep them 100% centered when mounted. I think I will have to send them back.
