Hello I’m new. I have a 2015 ram 2500 crew cab long bed. I got it deleted last year and I was told the transmission is controlled by the ecm and it had to relearn how to shift. After awhile I noticed when I’m towing its usually around 1600 rmps at 70mph but as soon as I try to step on it before I hit a hill or try to pass someone the truck jumps to 2500 rpm’s and then drops to 2000 rpm and I feel the power but before being deleted it would slowly gain speed and you would feel the low end power with the trouble kick in and not jump to 2500 rpm. Any one has had this issue or any advice what could it be?

Did your tune come with a transmission tune as well? Some change the shifting strategy to keep a stock trans alive. If you added power, bringing the power up from down low could smoke the trans, so it probably forces a downshift to keep the low end torque out of the mix.

Yes it came with a transmission tune. Oh okay so I’m order to get rid of that would I have to get a built transmission?

Tuning is the #1 killer of the 68rfe transmission......

What HP level are you running? Who did you get your tuning from? (hopefully a reputable tuner)
