Are you folks using this program to get 2 years of free oil changes?
My dealership pointed it out as a nice benefit because RAM covers full synthetic oil changes in this program for all HD's. I recall he stated the 1500's get standard oil. I don't hear or read of many folks talking about it though, which makes me wonder if the fine print is too off-putting to make the free oil changes worth it. Supposedly, the Texas-only restriction has been lifted... though I have no evidence to prove that.

Unless I have misread in the past, I believe it excludes Tradesmans. I hope I am wrong.

I got 5 free oil changes from the dealer when I bought my PW. Personally I'd just as soon as do it myself because I hate having to schedule an appointment, wait a few hours, ....

I’ve tried signing up several times on the website and it never sends me a confirmation email like it says it will....

I never believe anything that says free.

This is for Texas owners only. The rest of us are unable to participate.

I thought so too after reading the program details. But the dealership insisted that the Texas-only restriction was lifted.... but 'saying' it doesn't matter much if the contract doesn't support it. My truck delivery is still 1-2 months out. I'll dig in more when it comes time to drive it home. Fwiw, the referenced dealer is a high volume east coast dealer and historically has been dialed in politically to FCA. With that context, I didn't dismiss their claim outright. Proof is in the pizza, time will tell

Dont worry. Spend 50k plus on a truck and dont even get a keychain. User manual.. pfff. Here's a pdf and a quick overview book in a craptastic holder. Atleast this time the dealer filled my truck up. Last time I had to drive my scat pack from the dealer to the gas station.

I’ll do my own oil changes, thank you. That way I know what is put in.

So how does this program work? I got it in the mail, does that mean I just show up to dealership when I am ready for an oil change?

If it's the same as the Jeep Wave program (which applies nationwide not just in TX), the free oil changes are linked to your VIN and automatically show up when your dealer looks up your vehicle when you bring it in.

Also it's technically 4 free oil changes that expire in 2 years from the date of purchase, not 2 years of unlimited free oil changes. You pay normal price for the 5th and if you don't use all 4 the remaining expire at 2 years.

Am I reading correctly that every model 2500 is eligible, except Tradesman?

Hi GeauxCrush,

You are correct in that the Tradsman trim level is not included. Additionally, please know that support is available (24/7) at 1-866-932-3878.

I just sent you a PM with 2 questions related to this topic. My Ram Truck Owners Dashboard shows that I do not own my truck....
I have made a few payments, I kind of feel like I share ownership with the bank on this truck :)
