Purchased another 2500 ram a few weeks ago and I can't believe how many regens it has done. I have a 21 2500 megacab and a 19 2500 quad cab that see equal miles with equal loads behind each truck weekly. The 19 will regen every 4 to 5 days which equals anywhere from 30 to 120 miles before regening. Both trucks see intown and highway miles with 3 to 7k pounds loads. The 2021 has regened a dozen times in 30k miles. The dpf filter is barely ever above 0. The 19 will fill the dpf filter to 50% in a few days or 30 to 120 miles only causing a regen. The 19 has 67k miles on it and all recalls and updates done. I did pulled the map sensor out and cleaned it and that allowed 120 miles before the next regen. The 19 does have an afe intake on it vs the 2021 has a factory mopar with correct filter. The 19 has no codes nor a code for not regening.
I have attempted to get the truck to the dealer but with the recent cyber attack they are not taking appointments till they get there system up and running. This has been going on for a while now.
Just looking for some ideas. I've read most of the forums on here with the same issues but there hasn't been much of a documented solution
