Any issues with 17x9s on 37x12.50x17? i hear people have issues balancing due to the caliper hitting the wheel weights...

17x9 +18 offset with a 37x13.5 tire

Yes you do have to be careful where the wheel weights go in the front. I knocked off a couple since they were not static balanced - took it to a shop that knew what they were doing and never had a problem since. It is a very tight fit with the front calipers.

I use balance beads. No stick on weights to worry about. With bigger tires, it's almost a must due to the amount of weight usually needed for the bigger tires.
And no need to rebalance every 5K miles as they are always in balance.

Where did you get the beads from and how much weight was needed? I'm probably going to do this on my next set of tires.

From the tire shop. You just tell them. They have a spread sheet that tells how many ounces for what size tire. It also gets a different valve stem. I had them just replace the valve stem core because of the TPMS sensors and didn't want to go thru the hassle of trying to remove them to put in the new valve stem. Done this a few times on different trucks. But I've known my tire guy for some time. ;)

I run AEV 17x8.5 wheels and no issues. you just can't double stack weights. Any tire shop with their weight in salt would know what stick on weights to use. the truck comes with 17x8 from the factory and they don't have issues. you can use the hammer on weights on the inside as well if they are not competent enough to use the right stick on weights

Either static balance them or beads i usually do my own setup with airsoft beads
