Hi all, apologies ahead of time for dumb questions. Am new to the 5th Gen and Cummins (loving it so far). Anyone running 17x9/9.5 wheels on 35x12.50R17 on a stock height Cummins? Have been seeing conflicting info on fitment. I understand that certain tires may or may not make contact with the truck running a 35x12.50 tire depending on brand and tire type (A/T vs M/T). Would like to hear from folks running 35x12.50 tires (17",18",20") on stock height Cummins as to whether they are clearing those tires and what wheels sizes/offsets they are running.

But also looking for confirmation from anyone specifically running 17" wheels on a Cummins. Im not sure if the Power Wagon has smaller brake calipers or not as I've seen 17" wheels being run on them (but on 37's lifted, which shouldn't matter), but no info on Cummins folks on 17"s.

Really appreciate any/all info!

Running a 17x9 on a 3500 Cummins. It fits, but it's tight. Definitely do-able and I love the look
Thanks for your feedback. I ran 17"s on my Tundra and the fit was knock off wheel weights tight as well. As you said, as long as the tire shop knows and does their best to balance them, should be good to go.

I am running 17s on my 2020. Some wheels fit better than others. The tire monkeys need to know where to place the weights but it is easy for them to figure out. I ran 37s on 17x9 +20mm with stock suspension for a short period of time while waiting for my lift. I did have some trimming of the liner and pinch weld. Most are fine with 35s though.

I am sure MPGs dropped but they didn't seem drop a whole lot. I drive with a heavy foot. I average 15-16 combined overall both before and after. My 2007 with the same setup did much better MPG. I do not tow very much. - occasionally my LJ or someone else's rig. As far as strain, the 3.73s with 37s are about the same final ratio that the 2018 and earlier trucks came with stock. I am sure there is more strain but the truck can handle it.

35x12.5R17 Kenda Klever RT on 17" 2011 power wagon wheels. Stock ride height 2019 Cummins.
