I have a new 2025 Ram 3500 with the new larger screen, and by large I have figured most of the goodies that come with it. I filled up the diesel tank yesterday for the first time and was stumped trying to reset the average fuel consumption window. By going to the settings for the dash, I can select either, average fuel consumption or live but not both. In my '21 Ram 3500 I could actually have both. Is this possible with the new scree? And How do I reset the average fuel consumption window? I can't imagine it being set in stone for the life of the engine

I had a bit of learning curve with this too, but what I'm thinking you're talking about is the dash display, not the center stack, correct?

I programmed my dash to show 3 items on the top of the display; average mpg, instant mpg and outside temp. The initial misunderstanding I had was resetting the fuel economy through trip A & B did not reset the top reading on the main speedo/tach screen. I had to go to the screen that shows the active green/yellow bars for mpg's while driving and holding 'ok' to reset the average.

Maybe that was more confusing, but let me know if that helps what you are asking for help on.

That is exactly it, thank you. I have the clock, either the average or instant on the middle and the last one escapes me right now lol. I keep experimenting , but pretty sure there had to be a way to reset the average. Now to find the active green/yellow bars for mpg that you mention

Can you please expand on this screen I need to be on to reset the average reading? Just drove to town and back and still befuddled lol. No issues resetting the readings on A and B. Thanks

It’s in the same dash screen that the tire pressure is in, but all the way to the left of the 5 options.

I was just coming in to tell you I figured it out just a moment ago. I asked AI lol. Thanks for your help, I had missed the scrolling left/right feature on that page

What I'd like is to move that green/yellow mpg gauge into the center of the analog speedo/tech layout, instead of the speed number. Not sure that's not possible though.
