12V Outlet In Bed

All,

I would like to install a 12V "cigarette lighter" outlet in the bed of my 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie. Where would I be able to tap into a good 12V source. I prefer "always on." Thanks.
 
Look at the large schematic in post #6. Blunt cut wires F are located near the spare tire. A few jumpers and you have power assuming you have the Aux switches.
The wires may be there even if you don't have the Aux switches and the connector under the dash that you would have to jumper.
 
I have one of these, too. I can reach the tires on the trailer for air ups.

Thanks. I don't have the aux switches but will check for the wires.

Is the wire gauge heavy enough to support a viair compressor? I like the idea of plugging in using a cigarette style verses clamping to the battery terminals.
