Hi all! I have a PM into @Jimmy07 , the guru on this topic, but I thought I might create a thread while I wait, just in case others are wondering about this specific scenario. I have looked through a lot of topics and haven’t found one that quite answers my question.
Setup:
I have a matching 12” UC5 screen and module out of a ‘23 1500. I’m attempting to retrofit into my 2021 2500 6.4L with the 8.4” UC4 Non-Nav.
I have a harness conversion kit from DD Off-road. I’ve installed everything and made changes via AlfaOBD. I have everything but audio and video. Hazards, backlights and HVAC work just fine.
Here is the programming I’ve done in AlfaOBD thus far:
- ICS: Disable
- DCSD: Enable
- Dual Zone ATC: Enable
- Head Unit Size: R1 12.3’ 1920x720
Question(s):
Do I have a bad LVDS cable, are my parts not compatible with the truck, or am I missing programming steps? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
