tow mirrors

I have a 2022 Ram 2500. I’m trying to figure out what this sensor/camera thing is at the bottom of my mirrors and its function. Any insight would be great. I’ll include a picture.

Has anyone had issues with the 4 button switch’s for the new style mirrors? Less then 200 miles on my 2024 and all buttons quit working. Lights won’t even light up. Pulled it out already and made sure it was still plugged in.

Any one know where i can get these pins?! Im having a super hard time finding them. I ordered my glass off Boost Auto and it said they were included. That was not the case. Every dismantler or wrecking yard wants to sell me the whole glass kit with motor and such but i just need the PINS! Will...
