    Considering a Ram 2500 Hemi

When I bought my truck the price difference was not a whole lot. As to the ride comfort, I have been driving a 1 ton since I retired my F-150 30 years ago so don't know any different but have no complaints myself. My wife, grown kids, or anyone else riding with me has never complained about the...

    Considering a Ram 2500 Hemi

Not sure about the thread starter, but I have always been a 3500 rather than 2500 person for the payload. That must not be the case with most people as dealers seem to mostly only have the 6.4 in the 2500. For example Mark Dodge has thirty 6.4 2500s and zero 3500s. Most, but not all will custom...

Please Help!!!! Truck was jumped after a dead battery and everything went haywire! 2015 Ram 3500 Limited 4x4 megacab. 6.7 and the 68RFE

Sure you will get suggestions, but for now I would remove your personal information so a bot does not scrape it or something and cause you all sorts of spammy headaches,

    Automatic Regen too often

I have a sense from the couple times mine did anything other than normal 24 hr. regens, that fuel, or bad fuel, can be a big factor.

    Theft deterrent

There are a couple longer threads here about this with some suggestions, etc. I did not find them in my history but maybe someone else has them bookmarked and will post the links here for you. I remember that there is a user here also that has a solution available via private message. I keep...

Terrible Brake Pedal Location On New 2026 Ram 2500

Seems like this could be a big issue when moving foot from accelerator pedal to brake? Do you find you catch your foot on the side of the brake when doing that during normal driving?

    Cluster messaging regarding DPF

Mine has had the ding and aggressive messaging once likely the result of some bad fuel that time. Otherwise all 24 hour regens with no dinging and messaging, runs in background.

    Cluster messaging regarding DPF

JFYI You can have up to 8 PIDs show on one view on the iDash at one time. Plus have multiple gauge screens. So lots can be tracked although 8 is the limit on any one screen. On mine I find one screen gauge with 8 fields monitors more than I need.

    OEM Battery Life?

Maybe the old trick where the "normal price" is increased by the amount of the "discount"?

    DPF full

That is a good thread and I feel lucky to have been here long enough to have followed it gradually over the years. But for a new member? 96 pages! If I had enough knowledge, (and enough time), I would make a 9 page summary post that might end up being one of the most helpful threads here. I...

    Banks iDash Promo

Great! I checked my promo email and it says that no code or anything is needed. Says you just need to put it in your shopping cart and the discount will be shown in the shopping cart. Hope that works for you.

    Banks iDash Promo

Seems likely I guess. Yeah, even 3-1/2 years ago I paid $300 and something.

    Banks iDash Promo

Just a FYI, I got this today. I have had mine for a few years and like it. Wish there had been a sale like this when I got mine!

    Constant dead truck

I have s I *think* it has to do with distance or how good the signal is. In my case at least, the FOBs were probably at a range where maybe they were connecting to the truck, then disconnecting, etc. So maybe the truck was waking up the EVIC every time the signal dropped and then was...

    Constant dead truck

I had this issue or very similar. Started keeping the FOBs in a Farady and no issues since.

    DPF question

Ok. Thanks. I definitely have very little of the driving you describe and still it stays at 25% which is 15 minutes per hour. And I always lock out 6th when towing as sometimes in 6th on flat road rpms are surprisingly low even with the TT. I am probably wrong and have not heard anyone claim...

    DPF question

Well, there you go. Thanks for the explanation. I will no longer bother idling it up then if that serves no purpose. I wonder why they even put that feature into the controls if not to avoid idle time? I guess if the idle time on the EVIC counts true idle, fast rpm "idle", and slow driving...

    DPF question

My truck sits right at 25% idle time also. I pretty much try to never let the truck idle and still it will not come down below 25%. I am sure as I can be that this is not correct as most of my miles and time are long highway road trips towing the TT. Plus, I almost always idle up by using the...

What size/length are our hitch locks for the 25 2500 2.5" receiver?

Yes, more of them are starting to use the pin along with the lock. If Bolt would just do that, they would solve the risk of the pin coming out of the receiver. You would still lose the head of the lock though. I only had an issue with them on bumps. Smooth highway driving I don't imagine...
