I ordered the K&N high flow one and was coming on here to let everyone know it did not fit in my powerwagon. It fit my wife's 1500 just fine, but I could not get it to go all the way into my 2020 2500 PW. The filter was too thick and possibly too wide at the end. It seems like the filter box...
This was before i put the 37's on my truck. This a just a 10,000lbs trailer. I had a WD friction style hitch, which also helps with sway control. Towed this from AZ to SC. No real issues. Truck pulled the trailer great. Trailer breaks made life easy. Gas milage was low, as expected.
I liked my duratracks, they worked in all the conditions I put them through. Rock, light mud, snow.
When they wore out I went to 37" toyo RT (not the RT Trail). The RTs are more aggressive and a buddy of mine has gotten 50k plus out of them on his Cummins.
If I were you, I'd go 35" Toyo RT and...
What did you use for the undercoating? I'm about to move to the NE and I want to protect my truck as much as possible! I bought it in AZ and didn't get it coated when it was new. Now I'm regretting that!
Finally put some upgrades on my truck. 37s and and high clearance bumper. Toyo RTs on AEV Wheels. Had to heat the left front wheel well to create a little more space for the tire to turn, but otherwise fits nicely with stock suspension
Yeah I've gone through a bunch of these threads, because I know the ol "what's the biggest tire I can clear" is a common question. I'm more interested in the question,
Do you regret picking 1 size or the other? Has anyone regretted the 37s and gone back down in size?
for those that have run both 35's and 37's on a stock suspension, which do you prefer? I'm on the fence, because the truck looks great on 37's, but you lose a lot of flex (I imagine), and that is something I like abouut these trucks. To be honest, I dont use it now that I am on the east coast...
Yeah, glad I'm not the only one having the problem I guess... my truck was built 10/20 so it should* be clear on the TSB. Shame this is such an issue, my wife's 1500 AC is flawless, just wish mine was as good too!
I am currently living in the desert where the outside air temps get up to the 120F range with the cab of the truck hitting 135F at times. So to say that AC is important is not just a creature comfort at this point! My wife's 2019 Ram 1500 Classic AC cools down fast and will make the cab of the...
Sometimes I wish I had gone diesel and built it for lockers, lift and winch. However I knew that would be a HUGE money investment and I would probably never fully execute the plan
