Yes please let me know. I have not had the issue either after rotation but is a concern when driving off-road to our hunting spot. It’s not crazy off-roading just a few crossing where I feel the rear drops one side and compresses the other.
First time it did this I was completely lost as to why it was not running right. Why would it not run smooth after a battery change, who knew. Thankfully we live in a time of Google and Youtube video for a quick fix. Even though I miss the old vehicle specific repair manuals at times. The...
Might be completely irrelevant or not useful in comparison. But on my Toyota if I disconnect the battery or if it drains down, I have to reprogram the computer to register engine airflow. It starts fine, runs fine at speed but when you slow down at a light or stop it will die. On the Toyota it...
For me the one inch front leveling spacer. I can’t tell you really why I didn’t like it but for whatever reason it just always bugged me. Took it off and went with 1.5 inch lowering coils in the rear. Plus airlift bags to compensate.
Gotcha. I will try for a picture tomorrow. I mounted my airbag gauge/ control panel after Christmas. I could not find a place to easily mount it, to be seen easy and out of the way of my legs. I ended up mounting it to the right of the USB/USB-c outlets by the floor. In front of that cubby...
Pulled my topper off for summer and replaced with a soft tri fold off Amazon. I am hoping it makes a few summer time activities easier. Kids randomly ask to take their bikes places or extra space if we pull the camper. I bought a 6’tall x 4’deep’ 8’ long commercial shop rack. ( pallet rack)...
I just got one similar but a folding one for Christmas. I plan to pull my ARe Topper off in the Summer to make it easier to haul kids bikes, camping gear etc, but still wanting a cover at times.
I bout a 2015 ish cap for my 19. It was white and local shop painted it black for 500. I went to a cap dealer and order the slider/removable front window to replace the original solid pane so I could clean better. Also order new seal tape and it was ready to go.
Y’all have me thinking as I have been in bed for three days with pneumonia about this shock sizing. I have the bags that will act as retainers but how would I go about knowing the right size shock to replace? I’ve looked to see what the compressed and extended length of the 4600s are but their...
I agree it might be possible for the right circumstance. I feel like normal on road driving it’s less to worry about. I do not do any off-road but I could see maybe a full droop like off-roading be an issue. When I need shocks I’ll probably adjust for the difference.
After doing the install that isn’t much of a worry. They are only 1.5 inches shorter. To get the axle low enough to get the old out and new in we disconnected the bottom shock bolts and the sway bar end links. Put 6 ton jack stands raised all the way up on the frame in front of the rear...
A buddy and I installed today. Super easy and took about 15 minutes in all. Pictures didn’t turn out well today because of the shadow to tell the difference. I have airbags as well but could tell no difference in the ride. You can really tell the difference standing behind the tailgate with...
You mention payload. Check the gearing on each option. I have not checked in the HD series but I have recently thought about downsizing to a 1500 as my towing needs are not what they were when I bought my truck. But in the 1500s the rebel is the only one available with the 3.92 gears with...
