Simple in my case. Waited and no truck showed after 16 weeks, found one almost identical to my order, and told my ordering dealer the wait was unacceptable refund my $500.
I have carpet vs deleted now.
No park sense on this one.
No block heater on this one.
It doesn’t have the Off-road package but I was regretting that option anyway due to not seeing value with it.
Other then that it’s the truck I ordered, 50 gallon tank, 8.4” screen, and packages I wanted and...
Saga over. NEVER again will I wait and deal with the uncertainty, terrible customer service, bad communication, RamDoesntCare and factory order a Ram again. Wasted over 100 days of my life, the one I originally ordered is still in undetermined amount of “damage in transit”/ sitting at a railyard...
Dealer will not be picking it up at the rail yard. Read my sob story few pages back. Railyard said no due to COVID and trucking union said the only way a vehicle leaves the yard is unless a union driver has it on his truck.
At this point I don’t want a truck they labeled as damaged in transit. It has now sat in a busy railyard for over a month, supposedly with no keys, one can imagine it getting drug, pushed, forked outta the way a lot by now.
I’m out on it. I’ll find something else. Ya I’m pissed and it sucks...
Told my wife I’m going have an extra beer tonight, take a couple of days to unwind from this, and come up with a new plan.
The actual product Ram makes I believe to be sound. The customer service is absolutely horrible.
Why I will NEVER factory order a vehicle again:
Ordered 10/13
Window sticker 11/27
First delivery window 12/8-12/21
Second delivery window 12/14-12/21
Told truck arrived at final rail yard 12/13
Third delivery window 12/21-1/4
Told truck unloaded from train 12/21
1/4 passed then ZERO ETA...
Did you have an employee pricing code, as in EPXXXX (meaning you qualify as an actual FCA employee)? Or are you talking the employee pricing that was offered on 2020’s in December to everyone?
It’s the only rail yard that trucks for 400 mile radius come through. I can search trucks 250 miles from that zip via “Find My Truck”/search new dealer stock on the Ram site. The dealer trucks will either be “in transit” or “on dealer lot”. Then you can look at the window sticker and the SL...
No answers, no ETA, it’s as if the truck disappeared.
I’ve got way to much time into tracking down/hounding/begging people for answers. Took a lot to get regional rep but that has not gotten me a truck yet.
Ram your customer service and follow through are terrible with a capitol T.
If you...
