    It's a 3.73 axle ratio and I am guessing it is operating as designed and I'll get used to it. I also expect it will stay in 8 if I'm traveling an interstate and stay above 65 - I haven't yet. Thanks

    '24 RAM Laramie Club Cab 4x4 that doesn't like high gear.

    I have 2024 RAM Laramie CREW CAB 4X4 with a 6.4 Heavy Duty HEMI and an 8HP75-LCV transmission with 2,500 miles on it. I love the truck in all respects (used to have an '03 with a Cummings) and the transmission in new rig is reluctant to get into 8th gear (need to be going +65 on a flat grade)...
