If its anything like my 2024, the cable runs from the camera in the 3rd brake light(you will need that part as well) straight to the mirror. I bought it from Infotainment, plug and play.
I also have 360 cameras. You usually need AlfaOBD to make your dimming mirrors work after this...
Heat is a killer for a trans...larger tires creates more heat. So I am sure when peoples 68RFE takes a crap they don't immediately point to the 37s or 40s they stuck on the truck.

Yes, but like you said...it affects the gearing - that was not engineered in to the trans. The 37s may not "nuke" the trans but it will certainly shorten the life of that trans and other components.
That's why you need to spend the money to upgrade components when going to 37s and larger.
On my DRW but just from having 295x60x20 my Draglink, passenger ball joint and track bar started to have play in them....replaced at 15K. Maybe just bad luck, but heavier tires wear things out faster.
When looking at Fleet vs Consumer its comparing apples and oranges on use. I will say the Diesel Crew trucks here at the utility company I work for, Idle hours a day. One F150 one guy uses idles 8 hours a day! No issues after 3 years.

I think this is very subjective - a study paid for by the US Dept of Energy(Oak Ridge Labs) you have to take that with a grain of salt. I can see they are looking to reduce the overnight/drop off idle time for commercial truckers in this report. I also find it interesting this paper does...
