Okay thanks! That makes sense. So to keep it less than 2.5 inches to try and be somewhat legal I’d want closer to +20mm offset?- HeavyDuty24

Looking to put a 3” level in my truck. Hoping to run 35s. How much will -12mm offset on 18” rims push the tires out? And what offset should I look for with no rubbing? Hoping to do 11.5-12” wide tires- HeavyDuty24
