Hopefully I can figure this out. The first cluster I bought was out of a 22 and the fuel gauge didn’t work, but the background screen was correct. This cluster is out of a 20 and working correctly, but stuck on the longhorn theme, although I did get it to say big horn on startup. Just the theme...

I have not tried that, use that for both settings you mentioned?

I tried changing those settings, that changes the start up logo to big horn on the evic. But the background is still the brown longhorn style.

I think the issue with that, is the non nav 8.4 doesn’t have themes.

Right, but I need to add that customer feature with alpha obd and I can’t find that setting. My truck did not come with themes from the factory.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers, but the original conclusion is correct, not a bad cluster. Thanks for the input. 22 clusters do not work in 19-21 trucks. Hopefully this helps someone in the future. Bought one out of a 20 model and voila, the fuel gauge works perfect.

I get where you’re coming from, I just find it odd there’s been 3 people recently that have done the swap and all 3 have had the same exact single issue, while everything else works just fine.

Did your guy have any insight as to why it didn’t work in your truck? I don’t want send this back and run into the same issue. Any relearn procedures anyone is aware of?

Did you put any miles on the truck to see if anything changed? My distance to empty to settling back in to where it should be, after the odometer correction.

We might be onto something. Thats who I bought mine through. Different cluster but same issue. Only showed 7 miles when I installed, but I changed it to my correct mileage.

The one I bought looks different, wasn’t out of a limited. Feel free to pm me the vendor you bought it from on eBay. I’m curious now.
