No go on using not defined either. I appreciate the help. I can get the logo to change on startup, no problem. The background them will not change from the brown leather look
Hopefully I can figure this out. The first cluster I bought was out of a 22 and the fuel gauge didn’t work, but the background screen was correct. This cluster is out of a 20 and working correctly, but stuck on the longhorn theme, although I did get it to say big horn on startup. Just the theme...
Does anyone have any insight on how to change the theme on the 7” evic to the default, brushed steel look? I purchased a premium cluster for my 2020 big horn and when it powered up it’s on the longhorn brown leather look theme and I’d really like it to match my 8.4 radio theme. I’ve changed the...
Any insight on changing the background? My truck is a 20 big horn with 8.4 screen. The cluster I purchased is from a longhorn apparently. How do I make the screen on the evic match my other screen. Thank you.
Not trying to ruffle any feathers, but the original conclusion is correct, not a bad cluster. Thanks for the input. 22 clusters do not work in 19-21 trucks. Hopefully this helps someone in the future. Bought one out of a 20 model and voila, the fuel gauge works perfect.
I get where you’re coming from, I just find it odd there’s been 3 people recently that have done the swap and all 3 have had the same exact single issue, while everything else works just fine.
Did your guy have any insight as to why it didn’t work in your truck? I don’t want send this back and run into the same issue. Any relearn procedures anyone is aware of?
Did you put any miles on the truck to see if anything changed? My distance to empty to settling back in to where it should be, after the odometer correction.
We might be onto something. Thats who I bought mine through. Different cluster but same issue. Only showed 7 miles when I installed, but I changed it to my correct mileage.
