    Steering wheel buttons stopped working

Could be wrong but with other posts about steering wheel button problems, it was a clockspring issue.

Spare tire size-how much margin is acceptable?

I went up an inch & still have the factory spare. Would airing down the tire on the opposite side balance things out? Was just an idea but I may be wrong. Speedometer is off 1ish-mph on the hwy from OEM so they can’t be “too” much off from stock. I also keep a portable air compressor in our...

Recommendations for a heavy-duty grille for cross-country travel.

I think it depends on where you hit the animal. Buddy at work with a Tundra hit 2 deer one night on his way home. Only left a small bend in the lower bar of the ranch hand… and TONS of blood. His truck was lifted so most of the impact was near the frame mounts, I’m sure that helped. Father’s...

    68rfe

If my 68RFE remains reliable, I gotta say I actually like it. I HATE Fords 10 speed. It's so busy, gets confused and won't upshift sometimes especially when using the exhaust brake in the mountains. Other than how the F250 looks, that trans is what I dislike most about that truck.

    Automatic Running Board Weight Capacity

My brother in law has the auto steps on his. He's around 400lbs and has 80k on the truck without issue using them every day. I was genuinely surprised haha

Changed ATF - DPF clogged throwing dealer error

They probably didn't want to deal with the aftermarket warranty and tried to find a way out of it. Aftermarket warranties can sometimes be a hassle both for the mechanic and the owner. A dealer mechanic gets paid X per hour on work but an aftermarket warranty company may say they will only pay Y...

    Transmission Whine 23 6.7 with the 68RFE

If this is what it is then I thank you! Mine has been doing it also on random cold starts, like maybe 1 out of 3. Follows the RPM and goes away after like a quarter to half a mile. It's loud

    Automatic Regen too often

That's good news! Thank you. We plan to move to Oregon or Maine within the next couple years, haven't decided. Looks like either way I'll be getting some bonus warranty.

    Automatic Regen too often

RAM covers emissions for 5yr/50k. I'm also in OK. I have the extended Mopar warranty as well but it doesn't include the DPF. The rest of emissions is covered but not the filter.

    Automatic Regen too often

Bottom of the DPF just above the crossmember to the right in your photo. You can see part of it in my picture here.

    Automatic Regen too often

My trouble free (so far) 2024 looks the same as the picture. Approximately 39 inches long. There used to be a sticker but it's burned off/melted. Stamped numbers/letters have a date of 08/31/23 time 23:37 and the only thing that appears to be a model number is A-439 L-6405861BG R-RCP500099...

    What are you *DRINKING* today?

I may not give up hope then. We’ve tried a few and they tasted like pickles, it was gross haha.

    What are you *DRINKING* today?

We haven't found another sour we like and we've tried a bunch trying to find something similar to land of rainbows. Closest thing is a dos equis with lime and lucas salt but it still doesn't compare.

    What are you *DRINKING* today?

Maui Brewing Land of Rainbows sour. We took an extra suitcase with us last trip to stock up. Only runs for 3ish months once ever couple years. Best beer ever made.

    Should I Sell My 6.4L

I don't think he was trying to be a d*ck, more so just speaking frankly. My opinion which means nothing, is that there isn't anything wrong with some buyers remorse. It sucks but it happens. My worry with the truck would be with where it came from. Fleet vehicles aren't treated the best, I...

    Thuren V2 Boogie Bumps

First daily drive on stock height with these up front. Being so close to the axel they engage a lot on my rough small town roads. Its a firm, controlled engagement, not harsh at all and greatly improved the handling. I was worried after installing them because it's about 1/3 inch from the axel...

    Thuren V2 Boogie Bumps

My 2500 is stock ride height and these V2 sit near the axel like your Sumos did, closer on the passenger side than the driver. Won't get a chance to try them out until tomorrow but I'm hoping the soft engagement means I won't need to lift. I didn't bottom out often but it does happen...

RAM’s warranty process has destroyed my desire for the brand.

I'm with @flan Granted I have a good dealer, gave one of the service advisors my oem new Firestones when upgrading and it helped out his dad. He's super cool to me. But if I had trouble with them saying something is normal when I knew it was bad, I'd just send it and let it grenade. Hard to...

What did you do TO your RAM today?

Headed to the parents in Austin TX for a couple days to pick up a generator, everything around where I live "Marietta OK" is sold out after the tornados. Installed my Lomax cover while there and props to mom for the quick eyeball table-saw cut on the tailgate cover so the Lomax would fit flush...
