    Would look pretty awesome though…

Let’s see your wagons with 35 and 37’s

Thanks. Even though I found myself in a dark color truck and I’m keeping the theme going, I’m pretty burned out on dark everything. I’d dig a white or pearl truck with chrome wheels, bumpers, and grill for my next vehicle like I think you’re describing.

Let’s see your wagons with 35 and 37’s

What: 37/12.5/17 Cooper Discoverer At3 XLT Where: Bullrun 4x4 Haymarket VA Why: I’m a big tw*t and can’t leave well enough alone. Cooper is one of the lightest and most road-oriented 37’s. Ran 35” Toyo R/T Trails for the past year. Awesome tire but simply not for my current use case. Went 35...

    2019 Truck cap/topper/camper shell thread

Leer 100r with the rxf “paint”. I had a 100xr before and liked it but the gloss black at the rear didn’t suit me here. I was skeptical of a quality color match especially since this has a metal flake in it. ARE offers a similar coating but theirs looks very rough, similar to bed liner spray...

    Exhaust

That is likely similar to what I had. I could have lived with it as a love/hate affair but I’m 100% pleased with the Borla. All of the good with none of the bad. The rear side exit is more vulnerable off-road but I won’t lie about how shamefully little this hog does off pavement.

    Exhaust

After limited consideration, I accepted I made a $400 mistake (not my worst by a long shot) and decided to cut away from the direct fit magnaflow. Borla S-type is on it now. No complaints, exactly as I wanted and wish I started there but hindsight is what it is. I still maintain the direct fit...

    Exhaust

I selectively agree with something that is otherwise sedate and understated like a Range Rover or a car meant to blend into the herd like a beige Toyota Camry. Even a ram 1500 tungsten. These trucks are lifted, enormous, giant aggressive grills, big lights bolted to the roof, monster truck size...

    Exhaust

All subjective, but that’s not my prior or current experience. I had a magnaflow overland on my GX and it was ideal. This is far from crap, so hopefully that’s not what I conveyed in trying to articulate my opinion. It’s louder than expected and the cold frequency isn’t nice but it quickly...

    Exhaust

I’m probably at 1/2 cost for a nice cat back. The shop that removed my resonator and gave the bobbed high cut exit offered to do a “generic” name brand muffler and weld it in. I was on the fence at the time and ended up with the magnaflow direct fit because I’ve had great experience with the...

    Exhaust

I removed the resonator a while back mostly for appearance but have been wanting more v8 soundtrack. Recently put on the magnaflow direct fit muffler. This route is cheaper than a full cat back, but not better. The truck is very loud on start up. The first few minutes (2-4) of every drive, a bad...

    front plate mount

I hated the front plate location. I’ve removed the air dam day 1 and later added a cjc intercooler guard to clean up the look. Not a ton of good folding plate options. I tried ARB, but it was poorly advertised and I didn’t consider their base of operations; they don’t fit US plates. Returned...

Thanks friend, I’m pretty satisfied with its current state. PW’s are one of few 4x4’s I see and don’t instantly think “it could use a lift”. I know lots of folks had good opinions of the 5160s when I had my Tacoma and was making some changes.

I won’t write some love story here. The kings are great, I’m glad I got them, I’m glad I got the adjusters. I’ll play around some but with 24 clicks, +12 front +10 rear (from softest) is working very nicely. I’m positive the full up kits with coils ect work even better, not trying to knock that...

Yea I did the same. I try not to make permanent modifications (drilling) if I can avoid it but they as you said also place them back further so given my particular case it was the best option I could find.

I also prefer the angle of your reservoir hose at the shock body.

Installed. Process had its bumps. I decided to use Thuren mounts despite preferring the king supplied mounts simply because my garage is too small and my driveway/road are too sloped to safely jack high enough to get max droop and between the springs. Right rear body contacts the ebrake cable...

I could drive this truck for 100k miles on the bilsteins and never be held back or disappointed so I’m not encouraging anyone to follow my lead, just sharing. Raptor/Trx excluded, I’m of the opinion shocks are an overlooked feature when companies piece together $70-100,000 adult toys. I ended...

Tempting as they are, I’ve always encountered some cons along with the pros anytime I’ve changed the geometry to my vehicles. My goal is to make improvements, conceding up front the improvements won’t be maximized, without inducing any unwanted aspects. Conversely, I’ve done half measures...

    Kings

Out of the box they looks great and they arrived perfectly in tact so thanks to Filthy or more so King for the boxing. These have long front hoses to allow multiple mounting options though only one spot seems viable so I think shorter hoses could be better. I’m waiting for Thuren front mounts...

Thanks for your opinion on the bilsteins, it’s great you’re happy with them. Mine being it’s a budget shock with commensurate budget performance. I’m not going on about anything I’m attempting to help anyone who is on the fence about better shocks before they spend the coin by sharing my...
